USA: Prayer warriors pray for un-employment at Job Fair; hundreds respond |

An NBC news affiliate has reported that when First Baptist Church Pastor Tim Childers organized a community-wide prayer and comfort service recently to show up and pray for employment seekers at a job fair in Alabama, hundreds responded.
blank_pageAccording to the report, the prayer table was just as busy as any employer's booth represented at the fair. ‘At one point in time, the line for prayer was longer than any line for jobs,' said Childers. ‘You can weather a lot of storms if you know somebody cares, particularly if they know that God cares.' Sherry Bentley agreed ‘Prayer changes things. We believe in the power of prayer, and so we're praying that God changes things.'
